The third hole is one of the longest par 4s on the course. The fairway has a deep swale that requires an accurate tee shot to carry a minimum of 225 yards between two fairway bunkers from the member tees to reach the fairway plateau, which will provide enough roll to leave a reasonable distance approach. The green complex is open in the front which allows a run up shot to easily reach the putting surface.
