Members are expected to choose attire befitting the surroundings and atmosphere of our Club. Members are responsible for ensuring that their family members and guests observe our dress requirements. Formal attire, when required, also applies to young men and young ladies, ages 12 and over. The dress code for catered events and private parties will be consistent with the members’ published dress code at that time of day for each given venue.
Clubhouse
For afternoon events year round and evening events during the golf season, business casual attire, trousers with collared shirts, is appropriate for gentlemen. Ladies may wear casual slacks/skirts with appropriate tops. During the winter holiday season (between Thanksgiving and New Year's), however, coat and tie for gentlemen and dresses, suits, or dress pants for ladies are required after 6:00 p.m.
Golf Casual: Khakis or trousers with collared shirts for men; casual slacks with appropriate tops for ladies. Shirt tails must be tucked inside men’s trousers.
Business Casual: Similar to golf casual attire, however shorts are not permitted.
Smart Casual: Jackets are required with slacks and collared shirts; ties are optional. For women dresses and skirts, casual pant suits, and tasteful casual pants with appropriate tops.
Formal Attire: Jackets with ties for gentlemen, including business suits, or blazer and tie with dress trousers. For ladies, dresses and skirts, business suits, formal pant suits, and dress pants with appropriate tops (not casual slacks). For gentlemen, a jacket with a full fold-over turtle neck sweater is considered appropriate formal attire.
Black Tie: Tuxedo required for gentlemen. Formal dresses or gowns are required for ladies. Slacks or pant suits would be inappropriate in a Black Tie setting.
Inappropriate Attire
Dungarees, cutoffs, denim/jeans, cargo shorts or pants, swim suits, short shorts, halters, tank tops, bare torsos, jogging outfits, and other inappropriate attire are not allowed in or around the Clubhouse, golf course, or tennis courts at any time. Any clothing that is torn, frayed, or excessively wrinkled is considered inappropriate. Sandals or flip-flops for gentlemen are inappropriate.
Golf
Good taste in the selection of golf attire is expected at all times. Only non-metal golf spikes are permitted on Club property. Members are responsible to ensure their guests are appropriately attired.
Men - Collared shirts, slacks, Bermuda shorts not more than two inches above the knee are appropriate. Shirt tails are to be tucked inside trousers or Bermuda shorts at all times. Cargo shorts and pants and short sleeve mock turtleneck shirts are considered inappropriate and are not permitted.
Women - Appropriate tops, slacks, Bermuda shorts and golf skirts that are at least mid-thigh in length are appropriate for women. Leggings and athletic apparel that are designed as gym wear, i.e. yoga pants, spandex, racerback tank tops, etc. are not appropriate attire for golf.
Tennis
Proper tennis attire must be worn at all times by everyone, including children. Collared shirts, tennis shorts or skirts and tennis shoes (no black soles) are required. Tennis attire shall not be worn in the Clubhouse (except locker rooms) or on the north Terrace. Tennis attire may be worn on the south Terrace.
Swimming
Proper swimming attire must be worn at all times by everyone, including children. Bathing suits are required. Cutoffs and shorts are not appropriate swimwear. Bare feet are permitted only in the enclosed swimming pool area. Swimming attire is restricted to the enclosed swimming pool area.
