New Staff Info

Dear CCB Associate,

As restrictions begin to lift and we turn our attention to opening amenities as allowed by state and local authorities, we want to remain vigilant in protecting you, your peers and the membership from the COVID-19 virus.  Detailed throughout the attached manual you will find new policies and procedures designed to maintain as safe a workplace as possible.  Please take the time to read the manual.  Copies of this manual will be available from Trish Hiller, Human Resources Manager, and if you have any questions please seek guidance from your immediate supervisor.  Please click here to read a copy of the manual.

Our goal is to provide you and your peers with the resources to maintain the safest work environment possible.  We cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to the COVID-19 virus, but if we all follow these procedures we can greatly reduce the risk for each other.  Please be compassionate, many have families at home that include at risk or immune-compromised loved ones.  As employees we must make a choice to incur some risk while working our jobs, and as a CCB family we can all take responsibility for protecting each other.

As a general rule, if you feel sick, or are experiencing any symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus, please stay home.  Each shift you are required to fill out a health questionnaire, and if you answer yes to any of the questions see your supervisor before performing any work.  Always wear your mask unless you are working solo and away from others.  When working in an area with others maintain at least 6 feet between you and your peers at all times.  Wash your hands often (foaming scrub for at least 20 seconds and rinse with hot water), and use hand sanitizer when handwashing is impractical.

There will be questions that are not covered in this manual.  If something arises and you do not know how to react, stop and ask questions.  Your supervisor, the Department Head team and myself are all here to help maintain as safe a work environment as possible.  Ultimately safety at work starts with you!  Thank you for being a valued team member, we appreciate your dedication to the Country Club of Buffalo.

Sincerely,

Nick Markel
General Manager / COO
